وقفت أوروبا كلها مع صحيفة (شارلي إبدو) عندما أساءت إلى رموزنا برسوماتها الكاريكاتيرية الساخرة. وبرروا موقفهم بدعوى حرية التعبير. وسمحوا بحرق القرآن الكريم وتمزيقه تحت حماية الشرطة في معظم المدن الأوروبية، ثم ظهر زيفهم عندما قرروا فصل رسام الكريكاتير (ستيف بيل) من صحيفة الغارديان البريطانية، وحذفوا 40 عاماً من عمره الوظيفي. وكل القصة وما فيها أنه رسم صورة لنتنياهو وهو يرتدي قفازات الملاكمة ويحمل مشرطاً على بطنه المكشوف، ويجهز قطعاً على شكل غزة، مع التعليق: (يا سكان غزة، اخرجوا الآن). بمعنى انهم يعظمون نتنياهو ويضعونه فوق مقدساتنا ويعدونه رمزاً كونياً لا ينبغي المساس به. .
