بتاريخ ٢٠٢٢/٧/١٤ مر علينا مذبحة العائله الملكية العراقية التي اجهل الكثير من اسبابها و احداثها. حيث تم قرأتها و كتابتها حسب منظور كل جهة و مقتضيات مصلحتها و لكن ما يهمني كمتخصص في الصناعة النفطية ذكر انجازات هذه الحقبه الزمنية حسب اختصاصي :- في عام 1902، تم حفر اول بئر نفطي بمهارات انكليزية في حقل جياسورخ قريبا من الحدود الايرانية الامر الذي شجع الشركات الاجنبية للعمل في العراق في مجال استكشاف النفط حيث قامت الشركات الفرنسية والالمانية عام 1905 باستكشاف النفط في حقل القيارة النفطي.شهد العهد الملكي تأسيس وإنشاء الكثير من المشاريع والمنشآت في مجال الثروة النفطية ذات الأهمية الكبرى في اقتصاد البلد من هذه المنجزات ما يلي :- -اكتشاف اقدم حقول العراق و هو حقل نفط كركوك يوم 14 أكتوبر/تشرين الأول 1927 ـ تأسيس شركة نفط خانقين 1925ـ تأسيس شركة نفط كركوك 1929ـ تأسيس شركة نفط الموصل 1936ـ تأسيس شركة نفط البصرة 1938-بداية الإنتاج التجاري للنفط الخام من كركوك كانت في سنة 1934ـ مد خط أنبوب 12 عقدة , كركوك ـ طرابلس ( لبنان ) 1934ـ مد خط أنبوب 16 عقدة ، كركوك ـ طرابلس ( لبنان ) 1949ـ مد خط أنبوب 16 عقدة ، كركوك ـ حيفا ( فلسطين ) ( توقف العمل في هذا الخط عام 48 بسبب قضية فلسطين )ـ مد خط أنبوب 30 عقدة ، كركوك ـ بانياس ( سوريا ) 1952ـ مد خط أنبوب 16 عقدة ، الزبير ـ الفاو 1952ـ إنشاء مصفى الوند في خانقين 1927ـ إنشاء مصفى الدورة في بغداد 1955ـ إنشاء مصفى الدهون في الدورة 1957العراق آنذاك خصص 70% من الإيرادات النفطية للقضايا التنموية، في حين أن النسبة المتبقية كانت لتمويل الموازنة العامة للدولة، وهو ما جعل الحكومة العراقية حينها لا تعتمد على إيرادات النفط في النفقات الجارية، وإنما يعتمد على الإيرادات المتأتية من مصادر مختلفة، وبالتالي سار العراق مسيرة إيجابية من الناحية الاقتصادية.و من الملاحظ في الانظمة الملكية و حكم العوائل تكون شعوبها بالنتيجة اكثر رفاهية. في العهد الملكي تم بناء الدولة العراقية الحديثة !!و في الصورة أدناه الملك يفتتح مصفى الدورة أكبر مصفى في الشرق الأوسط عام1955م.
