أعلنت إدارة مستشفى النساء والأطفال التخصصي في مدينة الكوت، الاثنين، عن تسجيل أكثر من 11 ولادة خلال العام 2012، وفيما أشارت إلى أن المستشفى أجرى أكثر من ستة آلاف عملية للنساء، أكدت أن جميع العمليات والولادات الطبيعية تمت من خلال كادر طبي نسائي لا يتجاوز الخمس طبيبات.
وقال مدير المستشفى الدكتور منتظر الحكيم في حديث لـ”السومرية نيوز”، إن دائرته “سجلت خلال العام الماضي 11277 حالة ولادة موزعة بين 5964 ولادة طبيعية و5313 ولادة قيصرية”، مبيناً أنه “تم إخضاع نحو 908 طفلاً من الولادات في ردهة الأطفال حديثي الولادة والتي يطلق عليها ردهة الخدج”.
وأضاف الحكيم أن “بعض أطفال الخدج لم يتجاوز وزنهم الطبيعي عن الكيلو غرام”، مشيراً إلى أن “إدارة المستشفى أخذت على عاتقها تقديم الخدمات الطبية والعلاجية للطفل الخدج والاتصال بذويه بعد تحسن حالته الصحية لإخراجه من المستشفى ووضعه تحت رعاية والدته”.
ولفت الحكيم إلى أن “ردهات المستشفى سجلت خلال العام الماضي 6217 عملية نسائية بينها 904 عملية تداخل جراحي فضلاً عن ولادة توأمين سياميين”، مؤكداً أن “جميع عمليات الولادة الطبيعية والقيصرية والتداخل الجراحي تمت من قبل كادر طبي مؤلف من خمس طبيبات اختصاص وطبيب تخدير واحد”.
يذكر أن مستشفى النسائية والأطفال التخصصي في الكوت خلال العام 2012، ولادة توأمين سياميين، فيما أعلنت دائرة صحة المحافظة في (18 أيلول 2012) بأن عملية فصلهما تمت بنجاح في إحدى مستشفيات مدينة الكوت من قبل فريق طبي مؤلف من 12 طبيباً.
