أعلنت وزارة العمل والشؤون الاجتماعية، اليوم الثلاثاء، وصول عدد الأفراد المشمولين بالحماية الاجتماعية إلى 7 ملايين و400 ألف فرد، مما يشكل 17.6% من مجموع سكان العراق.
وقال المتحدث باسم الوزارة نجم العقابي إن “عدد المشمولين بالحماية الاجتماعية، وصل إلى أكثر من مليوني أسرة، أما عدد المشمولين كأفراد فقد وصل إلى أكثر من 7 ملايين و400 ألف فرد”.
وأضاف العقابي: “مؤخراً أطلقنا الوجبة الثالثة وملحقاً للوجبة الثالثة، وسيتم إطلاق الأسماء أو الوجبات، إذ إن الوزارة ملتزمة بالتخصيصات المالية سنوياً”، مؤكداً أنه “تم شمول أكثر من 900 ألف أسرة خلال السنة الأولى، تتبعه السنة الثانية الثالثة”.
وأكد أن “عملية البحث الاجتماعي الأخيرة أسفرت عن استبعاد قرابة 930 ألف أسرة غير مستحقة، لأن لديها راتباً أو موظفاً في دائرة أو مؤسسة أو استلمت قروضاً أو لديها موظفون كعقود في الوزارات”، مبيناً أن “عملية البحث الاجتماعي تشمل جميع المحافظات”.
وأشار إلى أن “الحملة كانت بدعم من رئيس الوزراء، وبإشراف وزير العمل، وقد استهدفت الوزارة في بداية الحملة المناطق الفقيرة في بغداد والمحافظات، كون قانون الحماية الاجتماعية استهدف الأسر تحت خط الفقر”.
وبين العقابي: “إذا كان عدد أفراد الأسرة 4 ويعيلها رجل فيتراوح المبلغ من 125 ألف دينار إلى 275 ألف دينار، أما إذا كانت الأسرة تعيلها امرأة فإن المبلغ سيزيد قرابة 50 ألف دينار ليصل مبلغ الإعانة الى 325 ألف دينار”، لافتاً إلى أن “الوزارة عملت على زيادة سعة الشمول، وليس زيادة سقف الإعانة، كونها أدخلت أناساً مستحقين للإعانة”.
