مازلت استعرض في مخيلتي اللقطات الامتحانية القديمة التي ظلت راسخة في ذهني حتى الآن، أتأملها من وقت لآخر. أحياناً أجد نفسي غارقاً في متاهات ذاكرتي المعطوبة بحثاً عن تفاصيل طواها النسيان. . .
دخل علينا معلم مادة التاريخ في الثالث الابتدائي، وكان يحمل هراوة غليظة. والشر يتطاير من عينيه. كنا خائفين مذعورين. لم يكن لدينا كتاب (مقرر) لمادة التاريخ، بل لم نكن نفهم ما هو التاريخ. وجه إلينا المعلم سؤالا عن اسم الفوهة الجبلية التي تندفع منها الحمم النارية نحو الفضاء ؟. ثم أخذ يجلدنا بالتعاقب. وكان صراخنا يتعالى ويتعالى، حتى وصل عويلنا إلى المنازل والدكاكين القريبة من مدرستنا الريفية المبنية بالقصب والبردي. ثم اكتشفنا فيما بعد انه كان يسألنا عن (البركان). . .
كان مدرس الرياضيات في المرحلة الدراسية المتوسطة يتصرف معنا وكأنه برترناند رسل، أو كارل فريدريك غاوس. قال لنا ذات يوم: سوف أجلب لكم أسئلة عن المتواليات الهندسية لو يجي (ر ب ك م) ما يحلها. اسئلة من خارج المقرر الدراسي، وابن ابوه اللي يشوف درجة النجاح. كان خطابه في الفصل أقرب للتهديد منه إلى الاختبار والتهذيب. لم نكن وقتها مستعدين لخوض هذا النوع من الامتحانات التعجيزية المتفرعنة. كنا نشعر ان ذلك المدرس من بقايا التتار والمغول. . .
كان مدرس مادة اللغة الانجليزية الاستاذ (ضياء القاروني) يتعاطف معنا وكأننا نتلقى منه دروساً خصوصية، ويتصرف بمنتهى الود والتسامح، يحرص أشد الحرص على تحسين مستوياتنا نحو الأفضل بطريقته المشوقة وأسلوبه الراقي، وكان له الفضل الكبير في تشجيعنا على قراءة الروايات الإنجليزية المبسطة. . .
في الموانئ كنت اتلقى تدريبي العملي على يد الكابتن (؟؟؟؟). كنت اعمل معه على متن سفينة واحدة. سألته عن تعقيدات قيادة السفن المحرجة بغاطسها بين منعطفات شط العرب. فرجع خطوة إلى الوراء، ثم قال لي مستهجناً: تريدني أنا اعلمك ؟. يعلمك زمانك، ثم تركني أضرب أخماساً بأسداس. . .
قبل بضعة أيام قرأت سؤلاً خليجياً في مادة الأحياء. كانت صيغة السؤال بالشكل التالي:-
