بمشاركة الشيخ شعلان الكريم نائب رئيس البرلمان العربي وعضو لجنة العلاقات في مجلس النواب العراقي اختتمت اليوم الجمعة 2/6/2023 ، اعمال المؤتمر الخاص ب “بناء التسامح والسلام على الرغم من التحديات الحالية: الشرق الأوسط وشمال إفريقيا وأوروبا” الذي عقد برعاية المجلس العالمي للتسامح والسلام وبرلمان مالطا على مدى يومين.
واكد الشيخ شعلان الكريم نائب رئيس البرلمان العربي وعضو لجنة العلاقات الخارجية في مجلس النواب في كلمته خلال اعمال المؤتمر على حرص العراق ممثلا بمجلس النواب والحكومة في ترسيخ السلام والتعايش والتسامح وتعزيز قيم الحوار والتسامح.
وقال الشيخ الكريم ان انعقاد مؤتمر المجلس العالمي للتسامح والسلام بالتعاون مع برلمان مالطا جاء في ظروف استثنائية معقدة خصوصا في الشرق الاوسط وشمال افريقيا واوربا والتي تحمل في طياتها مخاطر جسيمة ستؤثر على حياة مجتمعاتنا، معربا عن تضامن مجلس النواب والبرلمان العربي مع المواقف التي يتبناها المجلس العالمي للتسامح والسلام مادامت تتماشى مع الاهداف والاسس والمواثيق الداعمة للتعايش السلمي واحلال السلام والتسامح بين شعوب العالم.
واضاف النائب الكريم بان العراق وضمن منهجه الوطني ومبادئه الانسانية سيبقى داعما حقيقيا لجميع الجهود الرامية لترسيخ السلم والامن الدوليين حيث اقدم ونتيجة لمواقفه المتوازنة مع محيطه العربي والاقليمي ومكانته الدولية على اخذ خطوات جريئة عبر لعب دور الوسيط بين المملكة العربية السعودية وجمهورية إيران الاسلامية كما قام رئيس مجلس النواب محمد الحلبوسي رئيس المؤتمر الرابع والثلاثين لاتحاد البرلماني العربي الذي عقد مؤخرا في بغداد على تشكيل وفد برئاسته لزيارة سوريا تمهيدا لاستعادة دورها العربي والاقليمي والدولي والتي تكللت بالنجاح بحضور الوفد السوري الى مؤتمر القمة العربية في جدة ، داعيا المجلس العالمي للتسامح والسلام لاطلاق مبادرة جديدة تتضمن خارطة طريق عاجلة تستند على ادوات تتلائم مع طبيعة المتغيرات الحاصلة للمساهمة بحل النزاعات والصراعات وتقريب وجهات النظر بين الفرقاء لاستعادة استقرار المنطقة من جهة واغاثة بعض شعوب العالم من جهة اخرى ، حاثا المنظمات الدولية على العمل لتسوية الملفات الحساسة وخاصة القضية الفلسطينية والسودانية والليبية والصومالية وجيبوتي وايجاد الاليات الكفيلة لانهاء التوتر القائم بين اثيوبيا ومصر والسودان من جهة وبين العراق وتركيا وايران من جهة اخرى بشان التوزيع العادل للمياه.
واوضح النائب الشيخ الكريم بان مجتمعاتنا بحاجة لترسيخ قيم التسامح والسلام والتعايش ونبذ كل اشكال التطرف وتعزيز التعاون المشترك واستلهام الجهود الاقليمية والدولية للوقوف بوجه المخاطر التي تواجه العالم.
وتناولت كلمة السيد احمد الجروان رئيس المجلس العالمي للتسامح والسلام ورئيس برلمان مالطا انجيلو فاروجيا وكلمات ومداخلات الوفود المشاركة بالمؤتمر في يومه الاخير طرح العديد من الافكار والاليات التي تعزز مسيرة السلام في العالم والمجتمعات والتعاون بين الشعوب والدول لمواجهة مشكلات الفقر والبطالة والتعليم والتمييز اضافة الى العمل الجاد على تعزيز فرص العمل في اطار نشر خطاب التسامح والتعايش السلمي بين الشعوب.
وتطرق العديد من اعضاء الوفود الى تجارب دولهم في تحقيق المصالحات المجتمعية و ترسيخ مفاهيم التعايش السلمي واعتماد الحوار اساسا لحل المشاكل اضافة الى اهمية العمل على معالجة كل ما يؤدي الى التمييز والتطرف والارهاب من خلال الاهتمام بالتعليم وايجاد فرص اقتصادية وتنموية والالتزام بتحقيق التنمية المستدامة الشاملة.
