استقبل رئيس مجلس الوزراء السيد محمد شياع السوداني، عدداً من الصحفيين والإعلاميين ورؤساء تحرير الصحف العراقية.
واستمع سيادته إلى طروحات الحاضرين وآرائهم وملاحظاتهم حول أهم المواضيع والتحديات والمشاكل، على المستوى الاجتماعي والاقتصادي والسياسي.
وجدّد السيد السوداني الإشارة إلى أن الحكومة وأجهزتها التنفيذية تعمل على وفق أولويات ورؤية متماسكة إزاء القضايا والملفات التي بحاجة إلى حلول، والتي تشكل نقطة تطلع وطموح لجميع المواطنين.
واضاف سيادته إن محاربة الفساد، بوصفها ملفاً يحظى بالأولوية، بحاجة إلى تعاضد جماهيري ومتابعة إعلامية تعزز ثقافة عزل الفاسدين والفساد ونبذه، إلى جانب الإجراءات القانونية الحاسمة.
وأكد السيد رئيس مجلس الوزراء التزام الحكومة بثوابت حقوق الإنسان والحريات، بما فيها حرية التعبير والرأي وحق الوصول إلى المعلومة، وفقاً لتوصيفات الدستور واللوائح المرعية في هذا الإطار.
وفي الختام، بيّن سيادته أن سياسة الباب المفتوح مستمرة، وأنّ كل قطاعات العمل الحكومي والخدمة منفتحة على مجمل الاقتراحات والطروحات الإيجابية البنّاءة وكل ما يسهم في الارتقاء بالخدمات المقدمة لشعبنا، وتحقيق الرفاه والاستقرار والتنمية المستدامة.
