أعلنت وزارة الصحة، اليوم الاثنين، عدم وجود توصيات بمنع الاحتفالات بأعياد الميلاد بسبب استقرار الموقف الوبائي.
وقــال مـديـر الـصـحـة الـعـامـة في الوزارة رياض عبد الامير الحلفي في تصريح للصحيفة الرسمية، إن “متحور أوميكرون يتكاثر في خلايا القصبات الهوائية للمصاب أكثر من متحور دلتا بأضعاف، وفق المعلومات الاولـيـة مـن منظمة الـصـحـة الـعـالمـيـة”، مؤكدا “عـدم وجـود أيـة توصيات حاليا أو قـرار بمنع الاحتفالات بأعياد رأس الـسـنـة المـيـلاديـة، إذ يـرتـبـط هــذا الامـر بالموقف الوبائي المستقر حاليا، وكذلك عدم تسجيل إصابات بالمتحور الجديد حتى الان”.
ولفت إلـى أن “الــوزارة مـا زالـت تطالب المــســافــريــن الــقــادمــين عـبـر المــطــارات بمسحة PCR ويجب أن تكون قبل 72 ساعة من السفر”.
وبـين الحلفي أن “معرفة نـوع المتحور تـتـم عـبـر جـمـع عـيـنـات مـخـتـلـفـة مـن أشـــخـــاص وفــحــصــهــا بــالمــخــتــبــرات المركزية الخاصة بتصنيف الفيروس، وقــد اخـتـارت منظمة الـصـحـة العالمية الــــعــــراق مــــن ضـــمـــن ٥ دول باستعداده لمواجهة أية سلالة جديدة”.
واشـــار إلــى “تــجــاوز أعـــداد المـلـقـحـين بـالـجـرع الــثــلاث عـتـبـة ثـمـانـيـة مـلايـين مـواطـن، ونـأمـل تطعيم أكـثـر مـن 100 الـف يومياً للوصول إلـى أكثر مـن 10 ملايين ملقح حتى نهاية العام الحالي”.
