توعد وزير الدفاع الإيراني العميد أمير حاتمي، بالانتقام لمقتل قاسم سليماني، قائد فيلق القدس السابق بالحرس الثوري الإيراني، وذلك مع ذكرى مرور عام على مقتله في 3 يناير/ كانون الأول 2020، إثر ضربة أمريكية في مطار بغداد، وقال حاتمي إن الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب “اغتال” سليماني لأنه “أربك كل الحسابات الأمريكية” في المنطقة، على حد تعبيره.
وكتب حاتمي، في مقال أنه “مضى عام على استشهاد الحاج قاسم سليماني القائد الميداني في محاربة الإرهاب. القائد الذي أربك كل الحسابات الأمريكية في المنطقة ولهذا السبب اغتاله ترامب”.
وقال حاتمي: “في واقع الامر، لم يكن من المفترض القضاء على داعش في المنطقة لأن الأمريكيين جلبوا هؤلاء الإرهابيين للبقاء لسنوات عديدة واحتلال دول أخرى والتأثير عليها. لكن الفريق الشهيد سليماني وقوى المقاومة الصادقة والشجاعة كانوا على دراية بمؤامرات المتغطرسين العالميين وانتصروا عليهم”.
وأضاف: “ستدرك دول المنطقة والعالم أن الولايات المتحدة ارتكبت هذا العمل الإجرامي في اغتيال الشهيد سليماني دعما لداعش”. وتابع بالقول: “لولا الإجراءات الحكيمة لقائد الثورة الاسلامية والفريق سليماني ورفاقه بمن فيهم القوات المسلحة والشعبية السورية والعراقية لكانت سيطرة داعش على المنطقة حتمية”.
ووصف حاتمي مقتل سليماني بأنه “عمل إجرامي وجبان وغير عقلاني ويائس ونوع من التعويض عن هزائم الولايات المتحدة في المنطقة”. وقال إن “فكرة توقف تيار المقاومة بالتصفية الجسدية لشخص ما، خطأ في التقدير من قبل ترامب لأنها زادت من تكلفة الوجود الأمريكي في المنطقة”.
كما توعد وزير الدفاع الإيراني، في كلمة بجامعة “الإمام الحسين” للضباط التابعة للحرس الثوري، بـ”الانتقام لدم الشهيد قاسم سليماني من الضالعين في اغتياله”، وقال حاتمي: “على الضالعين في اغتيال القائد سليماني أن يعلموا بأنه سيتم الانتقام لدمه، وبطبيعة الحال فإن الانتقام الكبير هو خروج الأمريكيين من المنطقة، ومع ذلك ستتم أيضا معاقبة الآمرين والفاعلين في عملية اغتياله”.
