أكد عضو اللجنة المالية، حسين العقابي أن البرلمان سيصوت على قانون تمويل الانتخابات اليوم، معتبرا القانون بأنه “عثرة من عثرات الحكومة”.
وقال العقابي في حديث إن “قانون تمويل الانتخابات مطروح اليوم ضمن جدول اعمال مجلس النواب للتصويت عليه بعد ان انجاز القراءة الثانية له، ومن المؤكد أن سوف يمرر”.
واضاف العقابي، أن “قانون تمويل الانتخابات يعد عثرة من عثرات الحكومة والتي كثرت في الآونة الاخيرة وهفوة من هفواتها قانون تمويل الانتخابات، ويعد سوء ادارة من الحكومة”.
وأشار الى أن “هنالك طرقا ووسائل كثيرة متعددة لتمويل الانتخابات”، مبينا أن “سلاح العاجزين هو اللجوء الى الاقتراض، وهذا المشروع سيمرر لنسقط الحجج واعذار الحكومة بتأخير الانتخابات لعدم وجود السيولة المالية”.
وكانت اللجنة المالية عقدت، الأربعاء (16 كانون الأول 2020)، اجتماعا برئاسة النائب هيثم الجبوري رئيس اللجنة، اكملت فيه مناقشة مشروع قانون تمويل نفقات الانتخابات .
وقررت اللجنة تمويل نفقات الانتخابات من الرصيد النقدي المدور لعام 2019 البالغ 133 مليار دينار إلى حساب المفوضية العليا المستقلة للانتخابات استثناءا من قانون الإدارة المالية.
وجددت اللجنة دعوتها الى عدم اللجوء الى سياسة الاقتراض لخطورتها على الاقتصاد الوطني.
