السوداني يدعو المجتمع الدولي لإتخاذ خطوات مسؤولة إتجاه ما يحدث في فلسطين

استقبل رئيس مجلس الوزراء، محمد شياع السوداني، اليوم السبت، سفير الاتحاد الأوروبي، في العراق، توماس سيلر.
وأفاد بيان صادر عن مكتب رئيس الوزراء ، أنه “جرى خلال التحدث حول العلاقات الثنائية بين العراق والاتحاد الاوربي، وكيفية تعزيزها بما يحقق المصلحة المتبادلة”، بالإضافة، الى “بحث التطورات الأخيرة في المنطقة، ولا سيما استمرار الاعتداءات على الشعب الفلسطيني”.
وأكد السوداني، على أن “موقف العراق واضح ضد مايحدث في فلسطين وسنستمر بالمطالبة من المجتمع الدولي والاتحاد الاوربي، الى ان يأخذوا خطوات مسؤولة تؤدي الى وقف القصف على قطاع غزة واستهداف المدنيين، وفتح ممرات آمنة لإيصال المساعدات إلى غزة، وإغاثة الشعب الفلسطيني من الأوضاع المأساوية التي يعيشها”.
وأشار، الى “رغبة العراق في المضي بالعلاقات المتميزة مع الاتحاد الأوروبي، وتوسعة الشراكة الجادة في مختلف القطاعات التنموية والاقتصادية”.
من جانبه، أشار السفير الأوروبي، إلى أن “العلاقات بين العراق وأوروبا شهدت نموا واضحا خلال العام الأول لحكومة السيد السوداني”، مؤكدا، “رغبة الأطراف الأوروبية المختلفة في المساهمة بمشروع طريق التنمية”.
وأضاف سيلر، أن “بعثات الاتحاد الأوروبي مستمرة بالعمل والتعاون مع العراق، وعلى أعلى المستويات”، مؤكدا، “موقف الاتحاد الأوروبي من التطورات في القضية الفلسطينية، والعمل على وقف فوري لإطلاق النار، وتطبيق القانون الدولي وفتح الممرات الإنسانية لمرور قوافل الإغاثة”.
