البصرة اليوم جزء من معاناة أمة تمتد من الشرق إلى الغرب تعانق الموج وتنتظر التغيير وساعات الأنس بالحياة الجديدة المطوقة بجيوش الحزن والرهبة فأهلها يتظاهرون كما تظاهر كثير من العرب ولكن أهل البصرة يتظاهرون من العطش ومن ظلم ذوي القربى ومن الذين نادوا بإسمها وواجهوا الدكتاتورية من خلالها وكانت عنوانهم وسلاحهم القوي الذي لا يقهر .
