أعلنت امانة بغداد، اليوم السبت، عن التنسيق المشترك بينها ووزارتي الاعمار والثقافة وجمعية الفنانين لنقل نصب النسور لتعارضه مع مشاريع فك الاختناقات المرورية التي تنفذ في الساحة وحفظه في موقع آمن واعادته بعد انجاز المشاريع.
جاء ذلك خلال مؤتمر صحفي عقد في ساحة النسور بحضور مدير عام العلاقات والاعلام بامانة بغداد (محمد الربيعي) ومدير عام دائرة الفنون العامة بوزارة الثقافة والسياحة والآثار (علي عويد) ومعاون مدير دائرة الطرق والجسور في وزارة الاعمار والاسكان (حازم مجيد) وممثلين عن نقابة الفنانين (اسعد الربيعي) وجمعية الفنانين التشكيليين (طه وهيب) وبلدية المنصور والشركة المنفذة لمشاريع المجسرات والانفاق .
وافاد البيان المشترك للمؤتمر ان ” ضمن حزمة مشاريع فك الاختناقات المرورية التي اطلقها رئيس مجلس الوزراء وبعد مباشرة وزارة الاعمار والاسكان بمشروع فك الاختناقات عن ساحة النسور والمناطق المجاورة لها عبر تنفيذ ثلاثة أنفاق للسيارات ومُجسرين ، واجهت تلك المشاريع تعارضاً من عدد من الخدمات التحتية اضافة إلى موقع نصب النسور “.
وبين ان ” نظراً لاهمية النصب تم تشكيل فريق عمل مشترك يضم وزارة الاعمار والاسكان ووزارة الثقافة وامانة بغداد وجمعية الفنانين التشكيليين لغرض نقل النصب من موقعه الحالي الى موقع آخر قريب وحسب المواصفات الفنية ومتطلبات وزارة الثقافة والدوائر الاخرى المعنية “.
واشار البيان الى ان “النصب سيتم الاحتفاظ به بموقع آمن في متنزه الزوراء وسيتم ادامته بشكل مستمر من خلال فريق مختص باشراف وزارة الثقافة وسيتم اعادته لموقعه وبمكان مناسب بعد انجاز مشاريع فك الاختناقات عن ساحة النسور “.
يذكر ان مشروع توسعة ساحة النسور يتضمن إنشاء نفق بطول 490م، يربط بين شارع الأردن و شارع القادسية، ونفقاً آخر بطول 535م يربط بين شارع يافا وشارع بيروت، أما النفق الثالث فهو بطول 1035م، ويربط بين شارع بيروت وشارع يافا بعمق حفر يصل إلى 16م تحت مستوى سطح الأرض، بالإضافة إلى إنشاء مجسر النسور بطول 890م يربط بين شارع دمشق وشارع محمد مهدي الجواهري، مع مجسري الاقتراب صعوداً ونزولاً بطول 300م، ومجسر للسيارات فوق خط السكة بطول 478م، يربط بين ساحة قحطان مروراً بخط سكة بغداد – البصرة وصولاً إلى تقاطع أم الطبول، كما يشتمل المشروع على توسعة الطرق المحيطة بمواقع العمل .
