تناولت معظم الوكالات خبر التحذيرات التي اطلقها مرشح الرئاسة الأمريكية روبرت كينيدي الإبن (Robert F. Kennedy Jr)، وحذر فيها الناس من مخاطر مياه الشرب في أمريكا بذريعة احتوائها على مادة الأترازين Atrazine المستخدمة كمبيد للأعشاب الضارة، مبيناً في مزاعمه ان تلك المادة سوف تتسبب بإخصاء الأطفال، وأنها تسببت بتحويل ذكور الضفادع إلى إناث، وقد يكون لها نفس التأثير على البشر. .
وذكرت الوكالات ان شبكة اليوتيوب حذفت تلك التحذيرات. ثم تبين لنا ان تحذيرات كينيدي ماتزال منشورة على صفحات معظم مواقع التواصل وبكل اللغات الحية. .
والحقيقة ان مادة الأتروزين تنتجها شركة (Lidl) التي تحمل شعار الضفادع، ويستخدمها العالم منذ سنوات كمبيد للنباتات غير المرغوب فيها. وان خبر تحويلها الرجال إلى نساء لم يثبت مختبرياً حتى الآن، ويدخل ضمن المزاعم السياسية المثيرة للجدل، وهذا لا يعني القبول بسلامة مادة الأترازين، التي ظلت تشكل تهديداً للصحة والبيئة، وتسبب تهيجاً للجلد، ويمكن ان تؤدي إلى اضطراب الغدد الصماء لدى البرمائيات والاسماك والزواحف والقوارض. وذكرت دراسات اخرى ان تلك المادة يمكن ان تؤثر على جودة الحيونات المنوية. من هنا تم وضعها على قائمة المبيدات المحظورة. .
يقول كينيدي: (إذا وضعت مادة الأترازين في حوض للضفادع، فإنها سوف تتسبب بالإخصاء الكيميائي، وتأنيث feminize حوالي 10% من الضفادع الذكور، وتحولها إلى إناث قادرة على إنتاج بيض قابل للحياة). .
وادعى كينيدي أيضاً: (إذا كانت تفعل ذلك بالضفادع بطريقة الـ feminization فهناك الكثير من الاحتمالات على أنها تفعل ذلك بالبشر). .
تتفق الكثير من المختبرات مع إدعاءات كينيدي. في حين أكد الموقع الرسمي لشبكة اليوتيوب إنه أزال مقابلة جوردان بيترسون مع كينيدي بسبب انتهاكه لسياسة التلقيح ضد جائحة كورونا. .
ختاماً وبالنظر لخطورة المزاعم، ومن أجل قطع الشك باليقين يتعين على المختبرات العربية إخضاع هذه المادة للفحص والتحليل، والتواصل مع المراكز العالمية المعنية بهذا الشأن لبيان صحة الإدعاءات من عدمها. .
