بداية نعبر عن حزننا واسفنا لفقدان أي إنسان مات غرقاً في عرض البحر، ونقدم تعازينا الحارة لشعوبهم وذويهم بصرف النظر عن لونهم ودينهم وعرقهم وجنسهم وتعدادهم. وندعم كل الجهود الدولية لانتشال الضحايا وإنقاذ الاحياء منهم حيثما تعرضوا للكوارث. لكننا وجدنا انفسنا في واقع الحال أمام تناقضات عربية ودولية في التعامل مع حادثتين بحريتين مأساويتين وقعتا في الوقت نفسه. كانت الاولى قرب السواحل اليونانية وراح ضحيتها 500 مهاجر معظمهم من ليبيا ومصر وسوريا. وكانت الثانية في المحيط الاطلسي وراح ضحيتها خمسة فقط (اثنان من بريطانيا، وباكستاني، وأمريكي، وفرنسي). فهرعت البلدان كلها بطائراتها وغواصاتها وفرقاطاتها وخبراءها واقمارها الصناعية لانتشال الخمسة، وانشغلت شبكات الاعلام في كوكب الارض بنقل أخبار ضحايا الغواصة الامريكية ساعة بساعة ودقيقة بدقيقة. بينما تجاهلت مصير الـ 500. فالخمسة في حساباتهم أكبر وأكثر وأهم وأفضل من الـ 500. فوجدنا أنفسنا أمام قيمٌ ومعايير عنصرية وغير إنسانية رسمتها لنا الفضائيات والابواق العربية قبل الغربية. والاغرب من ذلك كله أن إعلام سوريا ومصر وليبيا كان أكثر المتحدثين عن ضحايا غواصة الأثرياء (تيتان) الذين قضوا غرقاً فوق حطام السفينة (تيتانيك)، واختفت جثثهم في ظلام المحيط. لكنهم لم يتحدثوا عن مصير 500 لاجئ ومهاجر عبروا البحر الابيض المتوسط فأغرقتهم دولة الإغريق مع سبق الاصرار والترصد، وتناثرت جثثهم فوق السواحل اليونانية. فالخمسة في منطق الابواق الإعلامية المنحازة أكثر عشرات المرات من 500 سوري ومصري وليبي. واللافت للنظر ان الفضائيات العربية خصصت وقتها كله لمتابعة محاولات فرق الانقاذ في المحيط الاطلسي Breaking News، واشاحت بوجهها عن مصير المساكين الذين ابتلعهم البحر بجريمة علنية مقصودة ارتكبتها زوارق خفر السواحل اليونانية. .
ولكي نستعرض هذه المعايير المزدوجة لابد من التذكير بحملات الاعلام الأوروبي في المطالبة بطرد اللاجئين السوريين واعادتهم إلى براكين النزاعات المتفجرة في الشام، بينما رفع الاعلام الأوروبي عقيرته بالنواح والصياح للمطالبة برعاية اللاجئين الاوكرانيين والاهتمام بهم. .
