تمكنت مديرية منفذ ميناء أم قصر الأوسط من ضبط (16) عجلة محملة بمادة(حديد شيلمان) بوزن إجمالي بلغ (480) طن خارج الحرم الكمركي مخالفة لشروط وضوابط الاستيراد معدة للتهريب.
ومن خلال إجراء الكشف والتدقيق للمواد والمعاملة المنجزة في نقطة البحث والتحري تبين بأن البضاعة التي ضبطت غير مطابقة مع ما مثبت في إجازة الاستيراد ولم ترد في كتب إعفاء هيئة الاستثمار الوطنية في محاولة للتهرب من دفع الرسوم الكمركية والضريبية الحقيقي ما سبب هدر بالمال العام بمبلغ (23) مليون دينار عراقي .
تم تنظيم محضر ضبط أصولي وإحالة المواد والمعاملة الكمركية إلى مركز شرطة كمرك أم قصر.
