طامة كبرى تلحق العراق ومع الاسف الشديد فإن هناك مساحات واسعة من الأراضي الزراعية في العراق تعرضت إلى عمليات تجريف متعمّدة بغرض تحويلها إلى أراض سكنية والتربح من بيعها بأسعار مرتفعة وان ما لا يقل عن 10 آلاف دونم من الأراضي الزراعية تم تجريفها بشكل كامل وقد ثبت تورط أحزاب ومسؤولين في حملة إزالة مساحات شاسعة من بساتين النخيل حيث جرى التلاعب بالأراضي وتحويلها من زراعية إلى سكنية ومن ثم توزيعها كقطع أرض مقابل مبالغ مالية متفاوتة كما أن عمليات حرائق مفتعلة أو تجريف بالجرافات أو رش الأراضي الزراعية بمواد كيميائية تؤدي إلى هلاك الأشجار والنخيل فيها فمنظومة الفساد أخطر على العراق من داعش ومع بالغ الاسف فان جميع البساتين التي وقعت ضحية عمليات التجريف تلك تعتبر عامة ومملوكة للدولة وليست خاصة ان هذا التوجه للقضاء على بساتين النخيل يدخل في خانة الفساد والمساومات وللأسف الشديد يتم بيع الأراضي بعد تجريف نخيلها وهناك مبالغ مالية تذهب إلى جهات متنفذة ومسؤولين من أجل غض النظر وعدم محاسبة المتسببين في هذه الظاهرة الخطيرة ومن الملاحظ أن التجريف بدأ من البصرة حتى وصل إلى أطراف بغداد فإذا بقي الحال على ما هو عليه ستندثر هذه الثروة الزراعية التي يمتلكها العراق منذ عصور وستختفي بدوافع وأجندات جائرة فلقد سيطرت جهات متنفذة لا يعنيها اقتصاد البلد تسعى لتحقيق منافع لها ولأحزابها تعمل على تجريف البساتين وتحويلها إلى قطع أراضٍ وبيعها حتى وإن كانت تلك الأراضي من أراضي التجاوز وغير المملوكة لجهة معينة وها هي السعودية في مبادرتها لزرع مليون نخلة في الصحراء لتستثمرها للصالح العام اما تمورنا فتصدر بابخس الاثمان ونخيلنا يتعرض للقتل والابادة معرضا مناخ العراق الى تغييرات جذرية لا تحمد عقباها .. حتى النخيل لم يسلم منكم ؟.
