أعلن وزير الدفاع التركي خلوصي آكار فجر اليوم الأحد انتهاء العملية العسكرية للقوات التركية ضد حزب العمال الكوردستاني في جبل “كارة” في قضاء العمادية التابع لمحافظة دهوك والذي أستمرت لمدة أربعة أيام متتالية.
ونقلت وكالة “الأناضول” التركية الرسمية عن آكار قوله “إن 42 عنصرا من حزب العمال الكوردستاني قُتلوا والقي القبض على اثنين آخرين خلال العملية”.
ونوه وزير الدفاع التركي إلى مقتل ثلاثة جنود أتراك، وإصابة ثلاثة آخرين بجروح، مشيرا الى العثور على جثث 13 مواطنا تركياً في أحد الكهوف.
وتابع آكار بالقول إن العملية العسكرية نُفذت بنجاح، وتم تطهير المنطقة.
