كشفت وزارة النقل، اليوم الثلاثاء، عن مشروع لمد خط سكة حديد “المونريل” المعلق من الطراز الحديث لربط محافظتي كربلاء والنجف.
وقال مدير الشركة العامة، لسكك حديد العراق، طـالـب جــواد كـاظـم الـحـسـيـنـي : إن “الشركة تعمل جاهدة لتنويع وارداتها والنهوض بواقعها الخدمي من خلال صيانة وتأهيل الاحــواض النفطية والـقـطـارات وزجها في الخدمة، ونقل أعداد كبيرة مـن الاحــواض والمواد من أماكن الـتـحـمـيـل إلــى مـسـتـودعـات التفريغ عبر الموانئ العراقية والمحافظات لدعم الاقـتـصـاد الـوطـنـي، إذ تـم نـقـل 4743 حوضا مـن مــادة زيـت الـغـاز بـين مصفى الشعيبة في البصرة ومـسـتـودعـات نفط الحلة خـلال العام المـاضـي عـبـر الاحــواض التخصصية”، مشيراً إلى “عرض عدد من المشاريع خلال العام الحالي فرصاً استثمارية لشركات رصينة، وتفعيل التشغيل المشترك بالشاحنات والقاطرات”.
وأضــــاف، أنه “تــم الــتــعــاون مــع شــركــة كـنـديـة لـدراسـة مشاريع خطوط السكك الاستثمارية والمستقبلية، وانشاء خط سكة حديد (المونريل) المـعـلـق مــن الــطــراز الـحـديـث الــذي يـعـد وسيلة نقل جماعية بـأعـداد كبيرة متطورة وسريعة وصــديــقــة لـلـبـيـئـة لمــواكــبــة الــتــطــور الـسـكـكـي الحاصل في الدول المجاورة، يربط بين (كربلاء ـ الـنـجـف) ويـسـاعـد عـلـى تخفيف الاخـتـنـاقـات المرورية”.
ولـفـت الحسيني، إلـى “تسليم الأولـيـات المتعلقة بمواقع الجسور المتضررة للجهات المنفذة في محافظة الانبار الواقعة ضمن خط سكة حديد (بغداد ـ القائم ـ عكاشات) بغية تأهيلها، فضلا عـن بـنـاء 5 جـسـور رئيسة للسكك وقنطرتين حــديــديــتــين تــضــررتــا بـالـعـمـلـيـات الإرهابية بـهـدف تسيير قـطـارات المـسـافـريـن والبضائع وتـقـديـم خــدمــات الـسـكـك الـحـديـد لأهــالــي تلك المناطق”.
