سجلت العصابات الاسرائيلية المتهورة رقماً قياسياً غير مسبوق في قتل الصحفيين، علماً أن اسرائيل هي صاحبة اعلى الأرقام في كل الاعتداءات السافرة ضد شبكات الإعلام، وكانت هي التي تتفوق على نفسها في كل احصائية، حيث لا قانون يحاسبها، ولا منظمة دولية تدينها، ولا دولة عظمى توبخها، ولا رادع يردعها، فهي تقتل المراسلين والمصورين ورجال الإعلام بلا تردد، وتطاردهم عبر منظومة التتبع (نيمبوس) بمشاركة جوجل وأمازون. حتى وصل بها الاستهتار إلى حصد ارواح أسر الصحفيين بصواريخ موجهة مع سبق الإصرار والترصد. فقتلوا 12 فرداً من عائلة (وائل الدحدوح)، بمن فيهم زوجته وابنه وابنته، بقصف إسرائيلي استهدف منزلا نزحوا إليه في مخيم النصيرات وسط القطاع، ثم قتلوا 8 أفراد من عائلة المصور الصحفي (ياسر قديح) بغارة همجية لا تعرف الرحمة. وقتلوا 18 فرداً من عائلة مهندس البث (محمد ابو القمصان)، وقتلوا 22 فردا من عائلة مراسل قناة الجزيرة (مؤمن الشرافي) بضمنهم والده ووالدته، وقصفوا منزل المراسل (انس الشريف) وقتلوا والده. .
وهكذا واصلت العصابات الهمجية تنفيذ مشروعها في قتل الصحفيين وازهاق أرواح ذويهم، فقتلت الصحفي (عاصم كمال موسى) في خان يونس نهار السبت الموافق 16 ديسمبر 2023، في حين قتلوا يوم الجمعة الماضي المصور الصحفي (سامر ابو دقة) وجرح المراسل (وائل الدحدوح) بصاروخ أطلقته طائرة مسيَّرة على مدينة خان يونس جنوب غزة. على الرغم من أنهم كانوا يلبسون درع الصحافة، ويعتمرون الخوذة الواقية، وكانوا برفقة عناصر الدفاع المدني بملابسهم الرسمية، ثم واصلت العصابات إطلاق النار على سيارات الإسعاف أثناء محاولتها نقل جثمان (سامر). .
وباستشهاد (عاصم موسى) يرتفع عدد الصحافيين الذين استشهدوا خلال العدوان الإسرائيلي المستمر على قطاع غزة منذ 7 أكتوبر الماضي إلى 91 صحافياً. يضاف اليهم 41 صحفياً أعتقلوا في الضفة الغربية بفترات اعتقال مختلفة أمام أعين شرطة محمود عباس. .
لقد سعت اسرائيل منذ بداية الهجمات إلى طمس الحقائق وتزييف الوقائع، ونشر الأكاذيب، فأعلنت حربها ضد رجال الكلمة الحرة. حتى تخطى تعداد ضحاياها من الصحفيين في أقل من شهرين، حصيلة قتلاهم في الحرب العالمية الثانية (1939-1945) التي توصف بالحرب الأكثر دموية في التاريخ الحديث. .
ووصفت اللجنة الدولية لحماية الصحفيين في تقريرها تعامل الجيش الإسرائيلي مع حوادث قتل الصحفيين بأنه: (تعتيم متكرر، وتهرب من المسؤوليات التقصيرية المدانة، ويشكل هذا السلوك الاسرائيلي المشين تهديداً خطيراً لحرية التعبير). .
