من المثير للاهتمام معرفة أن أكثر الموانئ ازدحاماً تقع في قارة آسيا، وذلك نظراً لموقع القارة الجغرافي وسط طرق التجارة البحرية، التي تربط الموانئ الأوروبية والشرق أوسطية.
وفيما يلي تفاصيل أكثر 10 موانئ ازدحاماً في العالم، كل منها فريد وفريد من نوعه:-
1- ميناء شنغهاي.
يتصدر هذا الميناء المملوك لشركة Shanghai International Port Company Ltd ، قائمة أكثر الموانئ ازدحاماً في العالم. .
2- ميناء سنغافورا
ويأتي بالمرتبة الثانية، وتديره الهيئة البحرية والمينائية في سنغافورا. .
3- ميناء نينغبو
ويقع على ساحل بحر الصين الشرقي في مقاطعة نينغبو وتشوشان بمقاطعة تشجيانغ بالقرب من خليج هانغتشو. وهو ثالث أكثر الموانئ ازدحاماً في العالم. .
4- ميناء شنتشن
ويضم العديد من الأرصفة التخصصية الممتدة على ساحل شنتشن في الصين. .
5- ميناء قوانغتشو
وهو أحد أهم الموانئ الصينية الذي تربطه علاقات تجارية بحرية مع أكثر من 300 ميناء في أكثر من 100 دولة. .
6- ميناء بوسان، المملوك من قبل حكومة كوريا الجنوبية ويقع على طرف شبه الجزيرة الكورية. .
7- ميناء تشينغداو
ويقع بالقرب من البحر الأصفر في مدينة تشينغداو بمقاطعة شاندونغ بالصين. .
8- ميناء هونغ كونغ
ويقع بالقرب من شبه جزيرة كولون وهو مركز تجاري بحري رئيسي في جنوب شرق آسيا. .
9- ميناء تيانجين
وتديره شركة Tianjin Port Group Ltd، وفيه الميناء الرئيس ومركز الخدمات اللوجستية والشحن المهم في شمال الصين. ويقع على الساحل الغربي لخليج بوهاي. .
10- ميناء بورت كلانج وهو أكبر ميناء بحري في ماليزيا وعاشر أكثر الموانئ ازدحاماً في العالم، ويقع على الساحل الغربي لمنطقة سيلانجور على نهر كيلانج وتديره هيئة ميناء كلانج. .
