أفادت هيئة استثمار البصرة يوم الجمعة بمنح إجازة استثمارية لمستثمر محلي يقضي بإنشاء منتجع غابات ترفيهي في منطقة الشرش التابعة لقضاء القرنة شمالي محافظة البصرة بكلفة تتجاوز 10 مليون دولار.
وقال رئيس الهيئة علاء عبد الحسين سلمان ، إن “المشروع يقام على مساحة 1000 دونم، سيتم إنجاز كافة مراحله خلال مدة 6 سنوات”.
وأوضح أن “فكرة المشروع التي تجمع بين الطابع الترفيهي والزراعي هو ما يميزه، حيث سيحتوي الجانب الترفيهي على فعاليات ترفيهية وقاعات وشاليهات أعراس ومطاعم ومدينة العاب إضافة الى حديقة حيوانات”.
أما بشأن الجانب الزراعي، بيّن سلمان أنه “يشمل فعاليات زراعية مختلفة مع حقل دواجن ومكبس تمور ومعمل ألبان، إضافة الى بيوت زجاجية ومناحل وبحيرات لتربية الثروة السمكية”.
وأشار رئيس هيئة استثمار البصرة إلى أن “قضاء القرنة يفتقر إلى ابسط أماكن الترفيه بالرغم من ارتفاع درجات الحرارة في الصيف”.
وتابع بالقول، “لذا فإن هيئة الاستثمار حرصت على توفير الدعم للمستثمر لإقامة المشروع ليكون متنفسا للعائلات وملاذا لها ولأطفالها ووسيلة لامتصاص الضغط وملء الفراغ والترفيه”.
