ترأس رئيس مجلس الوزراء السيد محمد شياع السوداني، اليوم الاثنين، الاجتماع الدوري الخاص بمتابعة سير تنفيذ مشاريع وزارة النفط، وجهود الوزارة المعنية بتطوير منشآت القطاع النفطي وتوسعتها.
وجرى، خلال الاجتماع، استعراض سير التقدم في تنفيذ مشاريع وخطط الوزارة، ونسبة الإنجاز، وتطوير عمليات الاستخراج وعمليات استثمار الغاز المصاحب، فضلاً عن سير العمل في مشاريع المصافي وقدرات التكرير للمنتجات النفطية.
كما اطلع سيادته على عرض شامل لتنفيذ مشاريع نقل المنتجات النفطية، والخطط المتبعة في توزيع المنتجات النفطية ضمن مختلف المحافظات، وكذلك متابعة تطبيقات الدفع الإلكتروني في محطات الوقود، وضرورة عدم تحمّل المواطن أي تكاليف إضافية أو أعباء نتيجة هذا التحوّل، وجرت مناقشة أوضاع إنتاج المشتقات النفطية والمحروقات، والمضي في هدف الوصول إلى الاكتفاء الذاتي وسد الاستهلاك المحلّي وعدم الاضطرار إلى الاستيراد.
وجدد السيد السوداني سابق توجيهاته بأهمية التركيز على سرعة التطوير في القطاع النفطي، بما يواكب سرعة نمو القطاعات الأخرى في الاقتصاد الوطني، ويدعم تلبية طموحات المواطنين وتحسين أحوالهم المعيشية، ويدعم جهود تشييد البنى التحتية في مختلف المجالات.
