طمأنت هيئة الاستثمار في محافظة بابل، المواطنين بتوفر مادة زيت الطعام الذي تنتجه شركة استثمارية في المحافظة والمتعاقدة مع وزارة التجارة لتزويدها بـأكثر من 100 ألف طن منها، فيما أكد مستثمرون أن استيرادها عن طريق الأرجنتين كبديل عن روسيا وأوكرانيا، سيكلف مبالغ كبيرة جداً.
وقالَ رئيس هيئة استثمار بابل محمد جاسم الزكم في تصريح للصحيفة الرسمية، إن “الأسباب الرئيسة لارتفاع أسعار المواد الغذائية وأهمها زيت الطعام، ترجع لكون روسيا وأوكرانيا، ينتجان 80 بالمئة من الانتاج العالمي لزيت عباد الشمس”، منبهاً على أنه “لولا وجود انتاج زيت الدار وطرحه في الأسواق، لكانت أسعاره قد وصلت إلى ضعفين أو ثلاثة أضعاف ما موجود حالياً”.
وبين في السياق نفسه أن “معمل الريان لإنتاج الزيوت الذي منحت له إجازة استثمار العام الماضي بقيمة 250 مليار دينار، سيوفر عند إنجازه، مادة الزيت الخام من فول الصويا وبطاقة إنتاجية عالية، بهدف تنويع مصادر انتاج زيت الطعام”.
من جانبه كشف المدير المفوض لشركة الاتحاد للصناعات الغذائية رياض كاظم حسين عن “إكمال شركته عقداً لتجهيز وزارة التجارة بـ 36 ألفاً و300 طن من زيت الطعام، ومستمرة بتجهيز عقد ثانٍ مماثل بالكمية ذاتها، وبلغت كميات ما سلم منه للوزارة، 50 بالمئة”.
وتابع أن “هناك عقداً ثالثاً معها بالكمية ذاتها سيتم البدء به حال الانتهاء من العقد الثاني”، مؤكداً “عدم توفر مادة زيت دوار الشمس في جميع الأسواق العالمية، ورغم انه بالإمكان استيرادها وحصراً من الأرجنتين، بيد أنها ستكون بأسعار مرتفعة جداً”.
